MANGROVE FORESTS

Follow seahorse Hippo in his journey to the other side of the world to visit a very special marine ecosystem, the Mangrove Forests of the Philippines. In this coastal forests, the trees grow in sea water, creating root mazes that are home and nesting ground for many unique species. These forests have an crucial role in our lives, once they help us fighting climate change, capturing carbon and protecting the coastline from storms and wave action. They are wonderful places, where the bright green from the trees blend with the crystalline blue of the Ocean and where Hippo will make new friends and understand how to protect them for the future!
